Smack Dab in the Middle of August

I will be the featured speaker this month at Smack Dab, an Open Mic event in San Francisco's Castro district.  If you're in the area on Wednesday, August 15, please drop by.  I will be reading a few excerpts from The Heart's History, and you'll also get to hear the latest work from several other local authors.  If you have any writing of your own to share, be sure to arrive early so you can sign up for a spot at the open mic.
