Charmed Lives: Reading on Feb. 25

My essay “Left with Love” appears in the recently published Charmed Lives: Gay Spirit in Storytelling, edited by Toby Johnson and Steve Berman (Lethe Press). This wonderful collection includes fiction and personal essays examining the role of spirituality in gay men’s lives. My essay describes my time as a volunteer at an AIDS hospice in San Francisco, where I had the most profound spiritual experience of my life. I will appearing with the editors and fellow contributors to the collection on Sunday, Feb. 25, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. at the San Francisco Public Library. Please stop by and hear some words of wisdom.
